We got to go to the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints DC temple, and see their million lights on display. Then inside the visitors center they had a program put on by the Washington DC south missionaries. They are a very talented bunch. Mostly singing, but a few instraments as well.
Then the next day we went to the National Botanical Gardens right by the capital, where we saw an amazing train set display with buildings made out of totally natural things like tree bark and bamboo. It was very neat. Besides all the beautiful flowers and greenery.Then to the National American Indian Museum. It was amazing. I don't think the kids fully appreciate what they get to do being so close to DC. One day, they will be sad that they didn't pay more attention.
And Grandma and Grandpa Rowberry gave us the matching sweaters for Christmas. the kids loved looking the same, and it was easy for me to keep track of them when we were out. All in all, we had a great Christmas vacation from School and work.

Sounds like a blast! My son Adam just came up to the computer as I was looking at your blog and asked who you were. I pointed and said, "That's my cousin Brandon and his wife and kids." He immediately lit up and exclaimed with a little laugh in his voice, "Brandon!" (from "Night at the Museum 2") If you've seen it you'll know why that's funny :). Love you guys!
Great to see the kids over the holidays since we couldn't be there in person.
